A George II oak Welsh box settle, the high back carved with the initials 'H.H' and the year 1732, above five inverted panels and down swept arms upon turned supports, enclosing the hinged box section and conforming front triple panel, stile feet, and later castors, 127cm H x 185 cm W x 54cm D

PROVENANCE: the settle was originally made for Hugh Hughes of Coed-y-Brain, Garnedd, hand written evidence detailing the ownership of the settle along with some photographic interest
