An early 20th century diamond ring, the central old cut diamond measuring 2.8mm x 2.8mm x 1.7mm, set to a pierced navette shaped white metal head set with four further old cut diamonds, head measuring 13mm x 9.5mm, set to a tapering gold coloured shank, ring size N 1/2, weight 2.1gms

The central diamond is in good order, no cracks, chips or losses. Some scratching and wear commensurate with age and use. Diamonds set to border in good order, no cracks, chips or losses, some scratching and wear commensurate with age and use. The head of the ring shows moderate denting and thinning, but no splitting or repair. There is moderate wear, thinning and minor splitting to the gallery. Shank shows heavy wear to the engraved detail and heavy thinning, particularly around the base. No splitting or repair to shank.
