A George IV gold coloured pill box, of rounded rectangular form, hinged lid set with an amber coloured cabochon, 2cm x 1.8cm, marks for London, 1825, together with a silver vinaigrette, engraved inscription to front reading 'A. Lomax', complete with sponge to interior, 1.8cm x 1.5cm, marks for Birmingham 1818 (2)

Hallmarks to vinaigrette rubbed, wear to gilt interior, pin prick dents and surface scratching throughout commensurate with age and usage, hinged cover fits well, but has slight gap, gross weight approx. 0.1ozt, pill pot cover also sits well, interior marks quite rubbed, pin prick dents and surface scratching, light tarnishing to interior, gross weight approx. 9.4gms.
