More Information
Pepperettes: Overall good. All enamel is intact. Colouration on silver indicates that these may have been gilt at one point, but this has largely worn away. Some small nibbles and chips to high points of glass, but no major fractures or breakages, minor scratching and wear only.
Jar: Lid is heavily dented. No signs of splitting. Monogrammed initials and hallmarks are worn, but are legible. Glass in good order, nibbles to high points only.
Scent bottles: Both have a moderate to heavy amounts of denting and wear to the silver mounts. Glass to both examples is in good order, minor nibbles and small chips to high points of decoration only. Stopper to smaller example has some large conchoidal fractures where it meets the opening - these are not visible when the bottle is closed, but may effect the security of the contents.
