£150
A William IV silver chamberstick by Waterhouse, Hodson & Co, Sheffield 1832, circular base with reeded border, detachable sconce and conical snuffer, with engraved lion crest to sconce and snuffer, 10cm high, weight 9.18ozt (at fault)
More Information
Overall condition is fair.
There is a heavy amount of denting and scratching to the snuffer and it has a large puncture at the tip. The engraved decoration is quite worn.
Detachable sconce is in fair order. It is heavy scratched, and the engraved detail is worn. It detaches and reattaches to the base with ease, though does not sit completely flush in it's setting.
Base is in good order. A moderate amount of denting, scratching and wear to the drip pan, handle and nozzle. Engraved crest is worn, but still legible.
No signs of repair to any of the pieces. All hallmarks show varying degrees of wear from moderate to heavy, but for the most part they are legible and match each other. All pieces are thought to be original to each other.
