Fees

A late 19th century silver plated triple decanter stand, trefoil base with cast rim and shell feet, central stem and handle modelled as coral, dolphin partitions, 46.5cm high, complete with three cut glass decanters, each 35cm high

More Information

Signs that one of the shell feet has become detached and re-attached - it does not rest on the same point as the other two feet. As a result, the stand does not sit level, and leans to one side. There are signs of cracking and splitting around the shell feet. The base, central column and handle show some denting, heavy scratching and wear - many of the highpoints show loss of plate. The screws attaching the frame to the base are secure. Stand would benefit from cleaning. The bottles are in good order, no cracks or losses. There is heavy scratching to the bases of the bottles, and a couple of the stoppers have several chips and nibbles. Please see photographs for illustrations.
