Glass to both examples in good order, no cracks, chips, losses or repair. Scratching and wear throughout, commensurate with age and use. Possible signs of repair around the thumbpieces - one shows the beginning signs of splitting. Both covers open and close smoothly, though do not sit completely flush. Both mounts show general scratching and wear commensurate with age and use, particularly around the contact points between the covers and the interiors. See pictures for illustration.
