An early 20th century sapphire and diamond floral cluster ring, the central floral head set with five old cut diamonds, interspersed by four mixed cut sapphires, the head measuring 10mm diameter, all set in white metal to diamond set shoulders and tapering gold coloured shank, stamped '18CT PLAT', ring size L 1/2, weight 2.2gms

All stones are present. The diamond pictured bottom on the first photograph has a mid-sized chip which is visible on the photograph. The other diamonds show some minor nibbles and abrasions. The sapphires show moderate abrasion to the facet edges and a few small chips. All stones appear secure. Settings in good order, some scratching and wear, but no large dents, splits or repairs. Shoulders in good order, no major damage or repairs. Shank shows moderate thinning and some minor misshaping, but no splitting or signs of repair.
