A 19th century oak and metal bound silver trunk, the gently domed cover applied with metal strapwork and integral clasp lock, opening to a vacant interior, wrought iron carrying handles to the sides, brass plaque set to the front of the trunk, inscribed 'Robt. Peel Esq' along with a G.W.R label to the interior 'E.Peel Esq, Bryn-y-pys, Ruabon', 67cm H x 82cm W x 58cm D
