A 19th century white metal mounted cowrie shell snuff box, the hinged cover embossed with flora and fauna with vacant cartouche to centre, 7.6cm long

Overall condition is good. Shell is in good order, no cracks, chips or losses. Moderate scratching to the surface. Some small splits to the white metal border, and some denting/pitting to the cover, concentrated tot he central cartouche. Interior is in good order but does require cleaning.
