The village scene shows several small areas of insect damage affecting some of the animals and the ground, but not the support material. The colours are reasonably bright and strong, but are likely to have faded somewhat over time. The frame appears to be structurally sound.

The Sarah Taylor sampler shows several areas of insect damage, affecting the edge of the piece including the support fabric. The support fabric shows age-related darkening. The frame appears to be structurally sound.
