Overall condition is good. There are a few small dents and dings to the border. The corners are in good order, with no denting. There is areas of moderate scratching and wear to the exterior, which expose the gilt metal beneath. slide action clasp opens smoothly and closes securely. When closed, there is a slight gap left to the bottom and top. There is a moderate amount of scratching and wear to the gilt interior. Some stretching to the strap, some light discoloration. Maker's marks are slightly worn, but all other marks are clear.
