A pair of Anglo Indian carved chairs, circa 1880, each with a pierced and rounded high back, carved with openwork trailing vinery, radiating from a carved figure of a lion, over a circular padded seat, similarly worked front apron upon zoomorphic mask feet, 103cm H, seat height 36cm (one at fault)

One chair has a broken back rest which has been re-glued at some point, now detached, along with further parts of the back structure.
Back rest has excessive play in the joint, further possible minor chips and losses.
The second chair has excessive play in the back rest, however no visible damage or repairs.
Some possible minor chips, wear and losses commensurate with age and use.
