More Information

The paint surface appears to be in good condition, showing no obvious damage or craquelure, however there is a small piece of debris protruding from the edge of the frame half way up on the right hand side. Examination under UV reveals no evidence of repair or restoration, however there are two small nicks to the edge of the board on the left hand side which appear to have been retouched, with some paint residue on the frame. There is also a small loss to the edge of the paint surface just below these nicks, and small creases to the paint surface in the upper and lower left corners. The frame appears to be structurally sound, however there are numerous cracks across the surface of the moulded details, and some losses to areas of the moulding.

Frame dimensions: 53cm x 71cm
