More Information

As seen in the third image, the female pot pourri figure is broken in several places. There are traces of glue and adhesives that indicated later repair, but these have since worn away. Some chips and losses to the base. There are several hairline cracks and areas of crazing to the glaze. Heavy wear to the gilt highlights, and some parts of the glazing. Indications of restoration throughout.

The male figure shows evidence of breakage and subsequent repair to the base and possibly the hands (pictured). Heavy wear to the gilt highlights, and some wear to the glazing. Indications of restoration throughout.

No cracks of losses to the figure, though there is heavy wear to the gilt highlights and there are signs of restoration. Many chips and losses to the floral encrusting on the bouquet being held and the baskets to each side. There has been extensive damage and later repair to the baskets, particularly the left hand example. The base shows several cracks and splits which have been subsequently repaired.
