A novelty silver pin cushion, A Marston & Co, Birmingham 1979, modelled as a shoe with blue velvet cushion, 11.5cm long, complete in fitted box

The piece shows fine surface scratching, fine surface wear and some tarnishing throughout, but no obvious dents, splits or pinholes. The hall marks are slightly rubbed but legible. The fabric of the cushion shows the odd small snag to the edge. It appears to match the fabric of the fitted box, but may be a later replacement. The box shows wears to the edges and corners and the hinge feels slightly loose, but otherwise appears to be in good condition.
