More Information

There are a few areas of possible solder repair. The most obvious are around the base of the handle where it meets the body of the jug, and in two spots around the waist of the jug, which cover the engraved decoration (see pictures for illustration.) There is repair work and possible solder around the base and feet (see pictures). The piece shows some light denting, genera scratching and wear commensurate with age and use.
