A French pressed burr walnut and tortoiseshell snuff box, 19th century, the circular box with cover depicting a scene of Napoleonic soldiers above the title 'Le Convoy un brave' the base with engine turned scalloped decoration, 8.3cm diameter, with a further plain example, 8.3cm in diameter, along with a horn and pewter mounted mug, (at fault) 7.7cm high (3)

The snuff box shows small chips and nibbles to the burr walnut. Minor surface scratches commensurate with age and use, but no obvious damage or signs of restoration.

The other box shows a small chip to the interior tortoiseshell and minor surface scratching commensurate with age and use, no obvious damage or signs of restoration.

The mug shows surface scratches throughout, the pewter mount is loose at the rim and the horn is slightly cracked on the outside at the bottom of the mug (as seen in photo). No other obvious damage of signs of restoration.
