A George V silver and white metal cased tape measure by Crisford & Norris, Birmingham 1914, of circular plain polished form with retractable internal tape, 3.7cm diameter, weight 0.91ozt

Moderate denting to the case and the the push-button mechanism. Heavy scratching and wear to the sides consistent with age and use. Heavy wear to the nickel plating on the drum. The internal tape is quite heavily bent in places. It pulls out with ease, however the push-button mechanism to retract the tape is stiff, and quite a stop-start motion.

Please note: only the sides of the case are hallmarked silver. The internal drum is stamped 'NICKELED' and the tape itself is not marked.
