An oval stained and painted glass portrait panel, 19th century, depicting a young gentleman in ornate collared robe against a red foliate ground, set within a foliate scroll panelled border, 34cm x 33cm (at fault)

No large cracks or losses. Some small chips to the edges of the head panel. General scratching, wear and tear to the glass. There is wear, splitting and thinning to lead frame. There are some areas of separation between the glass and the lead frame, but all glass panels are secure. The solder joints on the reverse of the panel may have been reinforced at a later date.
