Three Football gilt and enamel medallions, comprising; 'Birmingham & Dist Works Amateur F'Ball Assocn Referee Final Tie', engraved verso and dated 1951-52, a further similar example engraved and dated verso 1952-53, and a Referee Final Tie 1957-58 example, all awarded to 'S.F.Hill', with a collection of vintage football ephemera to include a referee's kit, mid 20th century, comprising a black shirt with applied 'Referees' Association Birmingham' patch, a pair of black shorts, a pair of football boots, two whistles and two linesman's flags, with a collection of football related pins, awards and correspondence, including 1950s match programmes for Amateur Football and in League & Cup matches in the Birmingham & District Football League, Midland Intermediate League & Warwickshire Football Combination, along with West Bromwich Albion Aston Villa, Walsall and Port Vale and booklets pertaining to the role of Referee & competition rules under the auspices of the FA (Football Association) F.A. memos etc relating to rule changes in the 1950s, a leather miner's hat, a respirator, a cricket box etc (Qty)
