A large Mason's Patent Ironstone China vase and cover circa 1813-1820, of high shouldered tapering, hexagonal form, decorated throughout in the imari palette depicting flowering peonies and chrysanthemums within a fence and bridge pattern, the pagoda shaped cover surmounted by three scaly mythical beasts, inside cover rim impressed twice 'Mason's Patent Ironstone China' in one line, and two old collection labels (at fault) 82cm high

The piece shows minor losses to the enamel, small frits and pits throughout, and a hairline crack to the lid of the vase. No other signs of obvious damage and restoration.
