A Biedermeier style satin birch dressing table, mid 19th century, the rectangular mirrored plate within an architectural frame, upon tapering cylindrical supports applied with ebonised detail, flanked by two jewellery drawers upon the rectangular top, over the single frieze drawer centred with an ebonised shield shaped escutcheon, raised upon tapering sabre legs, 143cm H x 95cm W x 49cm D, along with a later associated dressing stool, having a drop in seat and applied gilt metal roundels, 60cm H x 62cm W x 36cm D (2)

More Information

Drawer height 63cm, un polished to the rear of the dressing table.
Multiple splits and marks to the dressing table top, play in both mirror supports.
Split to the top of the rear LH leg (see additional images), along with minor evidence of historical worm, also to the rear of the mirror.
Replaced screw fittings to the mirror, overall marks and wear commensurate with age and use, multiple scuffs to the legs.
