An early 20th century Russian untested sapphire set stick pin, possibly by Faberge, the central oval cut untested sapphire within a surround modelled as the Imperial double headed eagle, stick indistinctly stamped, 8cm long, total untested sapphire weight estimated 0.20ct, 3gms, within associated box
A comparable Imperial presentation stick pin was sold at Christie's auction, London, June 3, 2013, lot 226 and a further example at Christie's auction, London, 20 May 2015, lot 24.

Please note, the marks are very hard to read on the stick pin. We recommend viewing the stick pin in person before placing any bids.
Engraving and detail to the front of the head of the stick pin is in good condition with minimal rubbing and wear.
There are scratched inventory marks to the reverse of the head, possibly reading '2441'
There is discolouration/tarnishing seen to the reverse of the head - would benefit from a clean.
The untested sapphire shows inclusions under x10 loupe
There is a crack/chip to the 1/2 o'clock mark on the sapphire
General surface scuffs, scratches and blemishes seen to the metal of the stick pin, this is commensurate with age and wear.
Box is associated and shows no marking to base or interior.
