A heavy gauge rummer, the straight sided conical bowl naively engraved 'I. Jeffriey', set on an annular shoulder knop, the conical stem terminating in a stepped spreading foot, unground pontil, 13cm high, with three rummers of large proportions, the round funnel bowls set on an annular shoulder knops, the stems with medial cushion knops, terminating in a stepped spreading conical foot, unpolished pontils, each 14.5cm high, and three further rummers (7) (at fault)

All the rummers show surface wear commensurate with age and use, but no chips or cracks. The foot of one has been noticeably ground down leaving a thick edge, presumably to remove chips. The other rummers all have thick feet, and although they appear to be in proportion, it is possible they may have been ground down slightly to remove small chips.
