A Victorian vinaigrette in the form of a snuff mull by Sampson Mordan & Co, with applied decoration to exterior body, hinged cover revealing a pierced grill, kite registration mark to inside cover, 8cm long, weight 41.5gms

Inside of cover is marked 'S.MORDAN & CO. LONDON' and stamped 'S.M'. The overall condition is very good. All applied ropework and beaded decoration is in tact. No splitting, thinning or denting. Some light scratching, pitting and wear consistent with use. Both hinged covers opening smoothly and closing securely. All chain links are in tact.
