More Information

The paint surface appears to be in good condition, showing no obvious damage or craquelure. Examination under UV shows no evidence of restoration. The panel shows some rough areas down the right hand side, suggesting that it may have move slightly to the left in the frame. The top right corner shows some small areas of gold paint on the surface, presumably the result of an attempt to repaint the inner edge of the frame at some point in the past. The frame appears to be structurally sound.
