A Copeland porcelain part tea and coffee service, mid 19th century, comprising: ten teacups, ten coffee cups, twelve saucers, and a footed sugar bowl, each piece with green printed mark, registered design lozenge for 1852 and painted pattern number 8838 to base (Qty) (at fault)

Three teacups show stained hairline cracks. Three coffee cups show stained hairline cracks, and one shows repairs. One coffee cup shows no obvious damage but does not ring when pinged. One saucer does not ring when pinged. All pieces show age-related surface wear and rubbing to the gilt highlights throughout. Some pieces show ingrained dirt.
