A Victorian silver and enamel vesta case, Lawrence Emanuel, Birmingham 1899, of rectangular form with enamel ‘Go to the..’ depiction, marks rubbed, 4cm long, 22gms

Minor areas of loss seen to the edges of the enamel border, and 'G' (seen with x10 loupe)
Hinged cover closes well.
Split seen under the cover (see images)
Dents to each side and reverse.
Hinge doesn't appear to have a clean finish (see images)
Marks are rubbed to exterior.
Top of 'screw' appears to be missing from the hinge mechanism.
General surface scuffs, blemishes and scratches seen, commensurate with age and use.
Striker has been well used.
Obvious wear to the corners of the vesta case.
