A mid 18th century oak chest of drawers, formed as four long graduated drawers (later re-constructed), the top drawer moulded as a pair of single drawers, all applied with pierced brass escutcheons and back plates, raised upon shaped bracket feet, 83cm H x 87cm w x 48cm D

General light marks, stains and wear to the top commensurate with age and use, evidence of historic worm particularly to the RHS, minor evidence to the bottom drawer and to the top.
The stained pine backboards are later, along with all drawer liners and runners, blocks added to the underside of the feet.
The chest is in solid condition with all drawers running smoothly, however it has undergone a degree of restoration throughout.
