A set of eight ash splat back country chairs, late 19th/early 20th century, each with a pierced vase shaped splat over an envelope rush seat, upon bobbin and baluster turned front legs, plain back swept rear legs, united by peripheral cross stretchers, to include a pair of carver chairs, 99cm and 106cm high (8)

Small amount of play in both elbow chairs, although this doesn't effect the stability.
Small hole to the centre of the rush work on two seats, please see additional image.
General rubbing wear and marks commensurate with age and use although all chairs appear to be structurally sound.
