An Edwardian sapphire, diamond and enamel festoon necklace, the white metal openwork swag design necklace set with old cut and single cut diamonds, suspending a central sapphire cabochon measuring 10mm x 7mm, milgrain collet set in a yellow metal and white enamel decorative border surround, with five graduated tear shaped drops also set with sapphire cabochons with white enamel, longest drop 5.5cm, all set to a later white metal belcher link chain, spring ring fastening stamped 'silver', length approx. 41cm, overall weight 26.3gms, complete in a Spink & Son fitted red leather box

Overall very good; all stones set to unmarked and untested yellow and white metal, scratching and wear to framework consistent with age and use, all settings and swags in tact and secure, all blue sapphire cabochons untested, general scratches and wear to surface, small chip to one of the outer small droppers, all old cut diamonds present and in tact, some with small chips to facet edges, general scratching wear consistent with use. General wear and scratching to white enamel, some chipping and missing enamel to borders. Small areas of lead solder repair to reverse of three of the droppers. Please note: set on later chain, stamped 'silver' with two ring fasteners.
