A large pair of silver plated lamp bases, Hawksworth Eyre & Co, each of tapering stop fluted form, with acanthus capital, on concave, square base with gadrooned rim, 43.5cm high (2)

Overall condition is good. There is a moderate to heavy amount of scratching, small dents and dings to the bases, particularly around the borders, but these are small. There are some small dents to the high points of the columns. The capitals are in good order, all embossed detail is clear. The underside of the bases are heavily worn, the green felt has worn away exposing the filling in places and a large portion is hanging off of one example. These would benefit from relining. The plate has worn in some places, concentrated at highpoints and corners.
