A late 17th/early 18th century oak coffer, the twin plank moulded top opening to a fitted candle box above a frieze centred with carved initials 'T.H', over three geometric mitre moulded panels, raised upon stile front feet, 73cm H x 126cm W x 53cm D

Joint split to the top with bars applied to the underside, lock catch is associated, with the lock removed and filled, small repair between the initials (see additional images).
Some fading to the RHS panel, lath/baton applied to the back of the chest across the bottom.
General marks and light gouges commensurate with age and use although the coffer appears to be in sound condition with no major visible faults
