More Information

Male example: Open panel joint running full length of figure. Some chips, knocks and losses to the edges of the figure. There is a split to one of the joints on the later base (see pictures). There evidence of extensive restoration (possibly varnishing) throughout, visible under UV (see pictures).

Female example: Joint running full length of the figure, but no gap is visible. Some chips, knocks and losses to the edge of the figure. Some restoration is evident on the figure, particularly concentrated around the skirt.

Both bases are assumed to be later. Both figures have different joints on the reverse (see pictures).
