A hunting short sword, 19th century, probably German, the 23.5cm double edged blade with triple fullers, the hilt with cast brass guard with relief moulded boar to one side and stag to the other, the quillons modelled as hound's masks, with associated horn grip joined at the guard by a silver coloured collar, 39cm long overall, lacking scabbard (at fault)
