The paint surface appears to be in good overall condition, showing the odd small area of craquelure, but no obvious damage or losses. Examination under UV shows no evidence of restoration. There are pinholes in the top left and bottom right of the canvas. These appear deliberately placed but it is not clear what purpose they serve. The frame is structurally sound, hairline cracks to the surface finish of the corners, and the odd hairline crack to the moulded details.
