An Edwardian silver sovereign holder by Sampson Mordan, Chester 1907, of rounded rectangular form with monogrammed initials to cover, opening to reveal eight-space gilt interior, 8cm x 3.3cm, weight 51gms

Overall condition is fair. Heavily dented exterior, scratching and general wear. Engraving to reverse is heavily worn. Cover opens and closes with a snap, but does not sit completely flush. Gilt interior is heavily scratched and worn. Metal bands to interior are slightly bent, and do not lie flush to the insides. Hallmarks are slightly worn, but are legible.
