The picture is framed under glass and has not been removed for inspection. The paint surface appears to be in good condition and as the artist intended. The colours appear clean and bright, but may have faded slightly over time. The painting is mounted on two backing sheets with no outer mount - as a result the paint surface is in contact with the glass. There are some dead insects under the glass, but these are not on the painting itself, and do not appear to have had any impact on the paint surface. The frame is structurally sound, however the glass shows small losses to the bottom right corner.
