There is moderate denting to the case exterior, moderate scratching and general wear. There is heavy denting around the half sovereign holder, and moderate denting/wear to the full sovereign holder. The covering to the internal compartment is very loose in its fitting and shows moderate damage - the cover gets stuck, and can be difficult to open. No splitting or signs of repair to the exterior or interior. Some of the links on the chain show heavy denting/misshaping and thinning, but there are no signs of repair. Minaudiere opens smoothly and closes with a snap, but does leave a slight gap around the lip when closed.
