A Victorian diamond and untested sapphire ring, the central old cut diamond with cushion cut untested sapphires to each side and further smaller old cut diamonds, within yellow metal carved head leading to plain polished shank, ring size O 1/2, 3.2gms, total diamond weight estimated 0.85ct, total untested sapphire weight estimated 0.50ct

There is an indistinct marks to the interior of the shank.
All stones present.
There are minor nibbles to the table facets and girdle of the untested sapphires (seen with x10 loupe)
There are inclusions seen with x10 loupe to the untested sapphire - but appear eye clean, bright and lively blue colour.
Central old cut diamond and one side diamond shows minor nibbles to girdle with inclusions present, particularly seen to table facet. Appears eye clean.
Further side diamond appears a little darker to the naked eye, with inclusions present
Claws are low and will require attention. Particularly seen to central diamond and untested sapphire. Replacements will be required.
Carved mount is thin commensurate with age and wear.
Under bezel shows a possible area of repair
Thinning seen to shoulders, with possible area of repair.
