The foreground and midground are in generally good condition, showing no visible damage to the impasto peaks. There is one small dot of blue paint in the foreground, which may be deliberate, or could be an under colour showing through. The paint to the flatter areas of the sky shows some hairline cracks, which would probably have occurred during the drying process. In the top right area of the sky, there is an area of yellowing. This could be a deliberate effect, but might be discolouration. Below this area, there is a small loss of paint, which is visible on close inspection. Please see photos.
