A French Louis XV style rosewood and marquetry bonheur de jour, late 19th/early 20th century, the superstructure raised back with a pierced brass gallery over an arrangement of five small drawers and a central recess, upon the foliate marquetry top of serpentine form with gilt metal banded edge, conforming frieze drawer upon slender cabriole legs applied with gilt metal mounts and sabot, 96cm H x 71cm W x 57cm D

Gilt metal gallery on the RHS is loose but not detached, LH spandrel to the recess is detached.
Repair to the top of the LH rear leg although this does not effect the desk stability, and 2cm chip to the veneer on the RH apron (please see additional images)
General light marks, wear and fading commensurate with age and use
