An early 19th century German oak, walnut and marquetry domed marriage chest, the hinged cover opening to a pair of fitted candle boxes, over a frieze inlaid with the script 'Magdalen Minten, Anno 1809', two moulded octagonal panels inlaid with birds and foliate detail, punctuated with further similar inlay, with substantial brass swing handles applied to both ends, upon bracket feet with later castors, 75cm H x 135cm W x 72cm D (at fault)
