More Information

The cattle pictures are under glass and have not been removed from the frames, however the paint surfaces appear to be well preserved with no noticeable damage, although it is likely that the colours have yellowed somewhat with time. The glass itself would benefit from cleaning. The ship picture also appears to be in generally good condition under the glass. All three frames show rubbing and areas of loss to the gilt and gesso.
