Please note - both tureens have been polished. However the hallmarks still appear clear.
First tureen -
Thinning to the edges of the cover.
Nibbles seen to the edges.
Visible joins to the body where handles connect.
Pitting/hole to one of the handles (see images)
The tureen is tilted and doesn't sit straight.
No major splits or obvious repairs.
General scuffs, blemishes and scratches seen throughout, commensurate with age and use.
Cover doesn't quite sit flush against tureen.
Second tureen -
Dent seen to cover.
Thinning and nibbles to the edges.
Minor area of loss to the finial
Dents and scratches to exterior of tureen.
Scratch seen to interior of tureen below handle.
General scratches, blemishes and scuffs seen throughout, commensurate with age and use.
Wobble when placed on flat surface, with minor tilt.
Dent to pedestal base.
Cover doesn't quite sit flush against tureen.
