A set of six George V silver fish knives and forks by Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd, Sheffield 1919, each weighted handle with shell-capped terminals and plain polished silver blades, knives 20.5cm long, forks 18cm long, within a fitted oak case, together with a cased pair of Victorian silver fish servers by Chawner & Co, London 1869, each with engraved crest to weighted handles and pierced floral decoration to blades, fork 24cm long, knife 31cm long (14)

Servers: Good order. Moderate denting, pitting and heavy scratching to the handles. Some wear to the engravings and hallmarks, but all are legible. Moderate bending to the tips of the tines. Some scratching and wear to the blades. Box is heavily worn and scratched to the exterior. Silk lining has large puncture marks where the fork tines meet the cover. Heavy staining, wear and loss to the interior.

Boxed forks and knives: Good order. Each pieces shows light to moderate degree of denting to the terminals of the handles around the shells. All handles show moderate scratching and wear. Decoration and hallmarks to handles is worn, but is still legible. Moderate scratching to the blades and tines. Varying degrees of wear to the tips of the knife blades, ranging from minor to heavy. Hallmarks to blades and tines are crisp. Box shows heavy scratching and wear to the exterior. Lining has a moderate degree of wear - leather lining to cover is coming away slightly at the edges. Some wear to the silk and velvet linings, but largely in good order.
