A Chinese pottery model of a polo player on horseback, possibly Han dynasty, the horse raised on four legs supported by a rectangular platform, the player modelled atop with legs astride and with one arm raised (presumably to hold a mallet), painted with remanence of red pigment, 33cm high (at fault)

Old restorations are apparent and some more recent restorations are probable. Over painting is visible in areas. No obvious losses. Some firing cracks visible.
