The piece is framed under glass and has not been removed for inspection. The vast majority of the piece appears to be in good condition showing no obvious damage and relatively bright colours, however there is evidence of insect activity including dead insects on the mount and on the edges of the embroidery, and some damage and losses to the edges of the piece.
