A sword hilt with horn grip, 19th century, the silver coloured guard cast with a standing lion to one side and a sleeping lion to the other, the quillons modelled as lion paws, the silver coloured lion's mask pommel with raised capstan rivet, set to an associated 65cm single edged curved fullered steel blade with bayonet tip, 82.5cm long overall, lacking scabbard, with a 1796 pattern infantry sword, the gilt brass hilt with folding guard, knuckle bow (lacking finial), fluted ivory grip and urn pommel, set to an associated 83cm single edged double fullered straight steel blade, indistinctly stamped, possibly for Andrew [Andrea] Ferrara, 99.5cm long overall, lacking scabbard, with a 1796 pattern infantry sword (lacking folding guard), and two further swords, all lacking scabbards (5) (at fault)
